Now that she's 16 months old and walking our lives are forever changed! This is just a glimpse at how active she can be. She just loves to experience everything and always be moving!

Our local zoo had a free day today which is perfect for a 15 month old that will only last about 1 1/2 hours anyway. She noticed every single fountain and waterfall but had a hard time spotting every animal in it's "cage". Until we got to the Wallaby exhibit. They could actually hop out to the walking area and she had a blast chasing them while they were out on the path (which wasn't very long once they figured her out!).

What a special day! Not only was it Grandma LaBarge's birthday but Allyson has begun walking by herself!!!! We are trying to get a better video and remember she'd been walking all day at daycare by the time this was shot but at least you get the idea :)

after trying multiple times, we finally caught a brief recording of her newest noise. It's kind of her version of the Tarzan! Also, you can see her 2 bottom teeth here. She is now 10 months old!

Today we "helped" Ally paint for the first time! We attended the Children making art for Children event for the new Devos Children's Hospital that opens 1/11/11 here in Grand Rapids. Allyson used her big toe as her paint "brush" to paint a green caterpillar. Mommy added a few details and voila... a cute little caterpillar is now crawling across the shared canvas!
