nursery part 3

I finally had some time to work on the stencil for the nursery today. For those of you that stencil, this stencil has 9 colors!!!! What was I thinking?! It takes quite a bit to put all those colors together and to blend a couple colors but it's worth it :) I love the results! I got half of the room done today! I am realizing as my belly is continuing to grow that I need to take the time now to get this done. I get tired easier now. Here's a glimpse at what has been accomplished so far along with a close up of the stencil.

26 weeks

We had another ultrasound today. Our doctor wanted to recheck the baby's ventricles in the brain. She had some cysts last time but today the cysts are gone. She is a healthy little girl :) Her heart rate was 144 and strong. She is measuring about 1 week behind where we are (37th percentile). Dr. Lown said that she will probably be a bit small, somewhere around 6 or 7 lbs at birth. I was okay with that, of course! I'm so glad that she is growing and is healthy. She is in the breech position and was sitting with her feet up by her ears. It was a bit more difficult to get a great picture today but here's what we've got....

nursery part2

Here is a look at the already crowded nursery. She is already being spoiled by friends and family!!! I am amazed at the generosity of those around me. So, now that I have something of significance to organize I guess I better get busy. Today will be the first day that I start trying to figure out some of the needs of this little one. Wish us luck :)

24 weeks

So I made it to 6 months!!! At my check up appointment the heart rate was 150 and I'm measuring right where I'm supposed to be. I am doing pretty good except for this exhaustion that has really kicked in last week. Welcome to the final trimester!!!!
